The sun was setting as I was setting up for a seascape.
The people on the right were still in the dimming sunlight, while the ones on the left were already in the shade of the hill behind us.

Developed in Ilford MG 1+40 at 20C for 4min, Jobo.

Very expired Polacolor ID-UV film shot with a Horseman 985 and 75mm lens, on October 2013.

Caught some awesome waves, drunk some cold beer and shot some very expired polaroid film with a Horseman 6×9 camera…
All in all, a great day…
Went for a family drive today…
Visited a new (to me) place, and shot some pinhole pictures along the way…
At some point, after changing film rolls, I looked up and this couple of cyclers had appeared next to me out of thin air…
It was kind of like a scene out of a David Lynch or a Coen brothers film…

Yesterday we went for a family drive on the west coast of Cyprus…
Leaving a rainy Nicosia in the morning, it was a pleasure to walk by the beach in this beautiful afternoon light…
Although it was REALLY windy, as you can see by the waves…

As I was packing my bags on Monday, I remembered some polaroids I shot in Santorini last November…
Which brought to mind a couple of pinhole polaroids I shot in the beginning of Summer in Cyprus… this been nearly the end of it, it seemed appropriate to scan then—it was also an excuse to delay packing… procrastination and what not…
I planned to post them before leaving for Santorini, but I didn’t have the time to do so…
So, I’m posting this from the back room of the out of this world (more like Peter Pan’s) Atlantis Books… enjoy…
Accidentally underexposed these late afternoon pictures to the point of getting a day-for-night effect—which I actually find quite pleasing…
The past few days have been moody, weather wise, but even Winter storms are a bit tropical here in Cyprus… more often than not the sun peeks in through the clouds after the rain (or even during raining) to reassure us that everything is gonna be alright…
Case in point, yesterday we went for a family drive down by the coastline between Limassol and Larnaca… we stopped at a seafood restaurant by the beach for lunch and about five minutes after we got there it started raining… ten minutes before we hit the road again, the rain stopped and the sun came out behind heavy clouds, shining that perfect golden afternoon light onto the wet landscape…
