After a month long hiatus (and a trip that took me to London, Oxford and Paris), we’re back to regular programming…

The picture below is of a submerged church at the Kouris dam near Limassol…  the very top of the bell tower and the tops of what used to be some pretty massive trees are the only things showing…

Rain water is a major issue for Cyprus… Kouris dam is the biggest of more than 100 dams built by the Cypriot government in response to the droughts Cyprus is been experiencing the past few decades… In the 24 years since its completion, this is only the second time it has overflowed…
